Once payment has been received, you will be sent out a subsequent email which will detail all the information on how to prep, maintain and care for your skin 7-10 days prior to your spray tan appointments. This will also detail what to expect at your appointment and on competition day. Please check your junk/spam folder as well for this email.

CANCELLATIONS

We have a booking and cancellation policy at Tan out Tan which is designed to protect not only our business’s bottom line but also to keep things fair for all clients. Tan out of Tan offers limited competition bookings which are unlike regular beauty appointments where you are able to rebook on a periodic or ongoing basis.

Competitions are held in definitive periods during the year on selected dates. Appointments slots are in high demand, competitors can book well in advance of competition dates to ensure their spot as Tan out of Tan only offers limited appointments per competition.

We regularly book out for these events, so no shows and last minute cancellations disadvantage other clients who cannot book those time slots with us. This is why implementation of our booking and cancellation policy is necessary.

To secure your booking, the total cost of your service is required at the time of making the booking.

You forfeit 50% of the total cost paid if you cancel your booking. This is non refundable.

However, if you cancel your booking within 7 days of your base tan appointment date. you will forfeit 100% of the amount paid.

LATE POLICY

Please try to arrive on time to your appointments . Unfortunately, we have had clients run late to their appointment. We understand traffic conditions and flight delays (in the case of interstate and international competitors) and circumstances beyond your control can happen. For those interstate and international competitors, we ask that you book your arrival in advance and not on the same date as your base tan, to reduce the possibility of a delayed flight and therefore missing your base tan appointment.

Out of respect to clients following your appointment and our desire to run on time for all appointments, late arrivals will still finish on time so as not to inconvenience and delay the next competitor.

We would rather you arrive 30 minutes early and wait in the salon than arrive late and not be able to spray tan you with the required amount of coats.

If you are more than 15 minutes late we may decline your appointment due to the affect it will have to the subsequent bookings after yours. Please be aware that arriving late, will not only reduce your tanning session time but also the effectiveness of your competition spray tan.

If you miss your base tan appointment entirely we will apply your top coat tan on show day and endeavour to get you as close to the required colour for stage. We do not have the capacity and resources to extend our working time beyond scheduled for base tan appointments.

IF YOUR SHOW IS CANCELLED

In the event your show is cancelled and rescheduled to another date in the same season and year, your tanning package cost will be transferred to the new rescheduled date.

If you decide you are no longer competing at a show that has been rescheduled, your tanning package cost can be transferred to another show in the same federation, in the following year otherwise you will be entitled to a 50% refund.

TRANSFERRING/RESCHEDULING FOR ANY OTHER REASON

Transferring/rescheduling your booking to another competition must be requested via email to tanoutoftan@hotmail.com no less than 4 weeks inclusive of your original appointment date. You can change to any other competition within the current competition season of your original booking - subject to appointment availability.

Transferring/rescheduling your appointment outside of the time policy mentioned above or outside of the current season will be treated as a cancellation and you will forfeit 50% of the total cost paid. You will need to create another booking for the new competition.

Transferring your appointment to another person is not permitted.

COMPETITION DAY

It is your responsibility to come and see us backstage for any assistance. We do not have the capacity or resources to come and find you. You must refer to your confirmation email for further competition day information.

I hereby consent to receiving spray tanning services from Tan out of Tan. I fully understand the process of application. I hereby waive any and all claims or rights on my behalf as a result of services rendered and release and forever discharge Tan out of Tan and its employees from any and all claims and responsibility or cause of action arising from the rendering of tanning and or treatments.

To my knowledge, I have no medical conditions or allergy which would preclude me from having this procedure done. I agree not to hold Tan out of Tan liable of any and all medical complications that may arise. I have been advised to consult a physician if any reaction occurs.

I have been advised and understand all of the pre spray tan and after spray tan care instructions and all of my questions have been answered in full. I hereby authorise the spray tan therapist to give me recommended applications. I agree to follow each step of recommended care and I acknowledge the importance of these instructions to achieve the best possible outcome for a competition tan.

I agree to release Tan out of Tan and its employees from any liability in the event of stains to clothing, car and furniture upholstery, jewellery and accessories and any other objects/persons my body might come into contact with.
